Investment Manager Selection

Investment manager selection has two components:  due diligence on the universe of available managers, and recommendations of appropriate managers to our clients.

Our investment management research is based on the premise that identifying exemplary managers is not a science. It requires a constant presence in the investment management community and resources committed to general research. We detail our manager due diligence process on a separate page of this website.

By the time our recommendations reach our clients, we have considered not only all of the merits of investment managers on which we conduct due diligence, but also the characteristics of managers which are appropriate for each client's particular risk tolerance.
